Queensland Working Women's Service Inc

The Queensland Working Women's Service Inc (QWWS) is a free, confidential and supportive service assisting women with work-related matters.

QWWS targets our services to assist women who may not have other support or union membership. We also offer community education on topics such as Workplace Harassment, Basic Rights at Work and How to be a Fair and Effective Employer.

QWWS provides services for all women in Queensland, inlcuding women from Aborginal or Torres Strait Islander backgrounds, migrant women and women from different cultural or language backgrounds. We recognise that these groups of women may face particular barriers and difficulties at work.

QWWS provides telephone information and practical advice in relation to Queensland and Federal industrial relations and anti-discrimination laws.

QWWS is funded by the Queensland and Federal Governments.

QWWS gratefully accepts comunity donations or applications for membership.  Click here to download a memberhsip or donation form.
