The Queensland Working Women's Service Inc (QWWS) is funded by the Commonwealth Government Fair Work Ombudsman to provide a free confidential and supportive telephone advisory service for women in Queensland about work-related issues such as: pay and conditions, unfair dismissal, discrimination, sexual harassment and workplace bullying.
If you live in Queensland and would like to discuss your workplace situation please call our toll free 1800 621 458 number. We target our services to the most vulnerable working women and give particular attention to:
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women
- Women from non- English speaking culturally diverse backgrounds
- Women who have a disability
- Women in regional, rural and remote areas
- Women with family responsibilities
- Women of mature age
- Young women
- Women in low paid jobs
- Women entering the workforce
- Women on 457 visas
